I have a REALLY hard time making masculine cards. I mean, a R-E-A-L-L-Y hard time. But, my hubby is worth it. He has been working extra hard lately so, I wanted to slip a little note in his work bag to make sure that he knew how much I appreciate him. (If you haven't met him...he is pretty fabulous.) I had to make one that would come together quickly so that he didn't catch me. hee hee
Here is what I stamped on the inside:
Wow. I did not get a good picture of that. Sorry! I would try to take more...but, I already snuck it into his bag. ;-) The base of this card is early espresso. I ran a 2nd layer of early espresso through the woodgrain embossing folder...and there are even some brads on the DSP here. Ugh.
Stamps: From My Heart
Ink: Early Espresso
CS: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso
Other: Retired DSP (the squares), Comfort Cafe DSP, Paper Piercing Tool, 1 1/4" Square Punch, Big Shot, Woodgrain Embossing Folder, dimensionals
Do you struggle with masculine cards too? What have you found that makes them easier?
He is pretty awesome! Lovethe torn edge!
ReplyDeleteI really like that. Too bad that paper is retired. Very good guy paper. You husband is such a good guy. You got yourself a keeper there.
