So, one thing I love to do is browse through Pinterest to get ideas about...well...everything!! I actually do try the things I pin. As many as I can anyway. Here are a few.
These 2 frames are above the TV. The frames were only $10 at Ikea. I used my big shot to cut out the numbers. They are our wedding date, and the boys' birthdays. The other was even more simple! I simply traced our hands and cut them out. Yep, that's really it. I thought the Fab Friday challenge (she below post) was funny because of the colors. Does that color look familiar? I actually took a piece of So Saffron cardstock into a big box store and had them make paint to match. Our basement family room is painted So Saffron and white with gray and black accents.
This is on a shelf above the sofa. This frame is also from Ikea. Picture by Charity Owen. You can check her out here. She is AMAZING!! But, the glass jar is a pinterest project. It was a jar of pepperoncini. I simply took off the label, taped off the part I wanted glittered, used some modge podge and Dazzling Details and TADAAAA!!!! :-)
Here is a closer look!
Do you use pinterest? What do find you pin the most? Do you actually try the projects you pin?
I rarely make the craft/stamp things I pin but I do use every school/classroom idea that I pin. What did we do before Pinterest? I will have to try glittering a jar like you did. I always have dazzling diamonds so I have no excuse not to try it.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday!
I just love your downstairs room. Everything you've done has turned out so well! You really inspire me.
